Avoid temperature loss with Master-Clip thermal and insulating hoses by Masterflex The Masterflex AG offers customised solutions for specific applications: Master-Clip thermal and insulating hoses permit conveying gaseous media without significant temperature loss. Master-Clip thermal and insulating hoses are tailored to customers’ needs, considering the specific applications for which they are intended. These special hoses are designed to transport gaseous media over a certain distance while keeping temperature loss to a minimum. The materials used for the inner and the outer hose determine the properties of the thermal and insulating hose. Masterflex provides customised solutions made from different materials, all of which offer perfect insulation – no matter what customers may require. Customers can choose from the following Master-Clip standard hoses suiting their particular application: · hoses for heating, ventilation and welding fume extraction · medium- and high-temperature hoses for up to +1.100 °C ·

On the Schüttgut easyfairs AVA is going to present the enhancement of the sales program: the new HRM Ringlayer Series is now a fix part of the AVA portfolio. A scale-up machine HRM 10 is one of the exhibits on the show. In detail: The mixing effect is based on a high circumferential speed of up to 50 m/sec. The resulting centrifugal force brings the product into a ringlayer at the periphery of the mixing drum. The high speed difference between the rotating mixing elements and the mixing drum combined with the use of different mixing elements guarantees a very high mixing intensity.

In the area of radiometric measurement technology the trend is heading towards lowest possible source activities. Berthold Technologies is pioneering these developments. With its state of the art Super-Sens, the company provides the worldwide most sensitive radiometric detector for measuring point level, continuous level and density, setting new standards in source limitations. Compared to common detectors, the source activity can be reduced by 70-95% when using the Super-Sens detector. As an example the density measurement on a dredging application can be taken, where a source activity of 185 GBq was required in the past to solve the measurement task. By switching to Super-Sens technique, the source size in this application was reduced to 5.5 GBq, which is equivalent to a factor of 34. The Super-Sens is primarily used when vessels or pipelines with large diameter or high wall thicknesses have to be penetrated. Furthermore, the Super-Sens is the preferred solution
