Hosokawa Alpine`s multiprocessing system

Multiprocessing systems: Flexibility and efficiency available quickly

The modern production environment requires flexibility, efficiency and speed

When manufacturing products with variable grinding properties, multiprocessing systems are crucial. This is because they offer a time-saving solution for complex production requirements. Thanks to the new Speedline series with a shortened delivery time of just 4 months, it is possible to react quickly to customer requirements and expand production capacities.

How does a multiprocessing system work?

The functionality of the MPA is based on a modular concept. A basic module contains all the necessary components of a grinding and classifying system, while additional modules can be added as required. This enables time-efficient conversion between different processes. The special design also reduces cleaning and maintenance times.

Where are multi-processing systems used?

The multi-process systems are versatile and are used in a wide range of applications. Particularly, they are used for the flexible production of smaller product quantities, especially in product development. MPAs are used in the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, mineral and metal industries. Both small research facilities and large production companies can benefit from their versatility and efficiency.

A scalable all-rounder – what are the advantages?

By using a single system for different processes, investment costs and the cost of additional work steps can be reduced. This leads to improved efficiency and profitability of production processes.

Speedline multiprocessing system

Do you have an innovative product idea and want to test it on small product quantities? The new Speedline multiprocessing system is the ideal solution. With a delivery time of just 4 months, you can expand your production capacities at an early stage and turn your idea into reality.

Sugarplex SX Flow from Hosokawa Alpine receives FoodTec Award 2024
The Augsburg-based machine and plant manufacturer is delighted to receive the international award. The German Agricultural Society (DLG) has announced the winners of the International FoodTec Awards 2024. The award honours 14 innovation projects, including the Sugarplex SX Flow from Hosokawa Alpine AG with a silver medal. It is the ideal solution for the one-step production of shelf-stable icing sugar. Icing sugar has a wide range of applications within the confectionery and bakery industry. When granulated sugar (sucrose) is ground with conventional methods, icing sugar tends to clump together again immediately after leaving the mill. ”This leads to difficulties with further processing and also when used as decoration for confectionery,” explains Dr Stefan Klettenhammer, Sales Manager at Hosokawa Alpine. As a rule, additives such as starch to prevent agglomeration are required to obtain and store stable icing sugar or systems such as mixing containers that keep the icing sugar in motion. ”Complex downstream conditioning processes such as cooling and heating

Future Foods for the growing demand for proteins Efficient processes from the Hosokawa Micron Group for the production of alternative proteins
Future Foods for the growing demand for proteins
Efficient processes from the Hosokawa Micron Group for the production of alternative proteins Proteins are a vital macronutrient. Since the human body does not have a protein store, our body cells must be regularly supplied with proteins. Global population growth is increasing the demand for it worldwide. ”In the long term, demand will no longer be able to be met with animal products alone. Moreover, alternative proteins are urgently needed due to climate protection,” concludes Alexander Langer, Deputy Head of Sales at Hosokawa Alpine, summarising the state of the current discussion. Alternative sources of proteins are plants, insects or residual streams in the food industry. Hosokawa Alpine and the entire Hosokawa Micron Group have developed the appropriate technologies for this. Protein-rich special flours through dry fractionation As an alternative to animal protein, vegetable protein plays a central role. New possibilities for obtaining plant proteins are opening up from sources such as wheat, rye, oats, barley, soya, peas, lentils or other cereals

New spiral jet mill Alpine Microburst (AMB) from Hosokawa Alpine New AMB spiral jet mill from Hosokawa Alpine: Ultra-fine grinding of coarse materials without pre-crushing
New spiral jet mill Alpine Microburst (AMB) from Hosokawa Alpine
New AMB spiral jet mill from Hosokawa Alpine: Ultra-fine grinding of coarse materials without pre-crushing Hosokawa Alpine AG has developed a new jet mill where coarser products can also be added without pre-crushing. The company named the spiral jet mill Alpine Microburst (AMB) after a weather phenomenon. ”The falling downdraughts in a microburst are reflected in the central material feed of the mill and high energy input to a clearly limited area,” explains Hermann Schmidt, Operations Director Pharma & Lab Division at Hosokawa Alpine AG. Even fibrous products, which previously could only be crushed with great effort or hardly at all, can now be finely milled with the AMB. Expansion of Hosokawa jet mills With the AMB spiral jet mill, the company is now presenting its customers with a valuable addition alongside its AS spiral jet mill and the AFG fluidised bed opposed jet mill. In contrast to traditional spiral jet mills, its large, central inlet allows more coarsely ground products to be processed directly. Up to now, this required pre-crushing. While the AFG is
