Direct drive without gearbox, powerful motor with miniature paddle, selectable pre-set parameter combinations for universal use - these are the main features of the new series of rotating paddle type version MBA800 for level measurement.
The idea is old, but it has never been implemented yet. The inspiration for implementation of these ideas was the MBA-owned patent for magnetic coupling (patent no.: EP1357366B1). By now, the idea of the magnetic coupling has now been developed as an integral component in permanent magnetic synchronous motors. Due to the direct drive variable-speed motor control, parameters can be coordinated in such a way that the various functions of the machine can be adjusted to the different types of bulk goods and their characteristics in the relevant application. These pre-set parameter combinations are what make the MBA800 unique in the world to date. It has already proven its worth excellently in field tests.
Combination of the correct setting
The comprehensive application know-how of MBA Instruments GmbH regarding the different bulk goods is a prerequisite for the best setting of such pre-set parameter combinations. Only this knowledge permits best adjustment of the measuring properties of measuring devices to the respective application. We offer this to our customers in the new device series MBA800 with 8 selectable standard settings, so that the device actually measures what it is supposed to measure.
Customer-friendly settings
Is the new device MBA800 supposed to switch just like that of the MBA200? If so, then the customer chooses the standard setting 1. Does the customer desire a level measurement indicating “full” with a quick reaction? The customer sets 2. The function `backlog indicator` is found in setting 3. Strongly baking products, very light-weight products or viscous materials have their own default settings as well. Of course, all parameters can also be set separately and very individually in coordination with the customer.
