UWT’s managing partner Uwe Niekrawietz traveled together with the product manager Johannes Blochum to Shanghai/China in the mid of September, to carry out a seminar event together with UWT China. Technicians, service and sales staff who should have a technical background of the UWT products were invited.
This event met with great interest and so significantly more participants than expected signed up for the seminar. The two-day training took place in a nice hotel in Shanghai with a total of 50 participants from 18 different distributors. On the first day the event began with the welcome speech of the Managing Director of UWT China, Teoh Seng Guan. Then UWT’s managing partner, Uwe Niekrawietz, presented the UWT group and went into details on the individual companies. He convinced the audience of the philosophy and long-term strategy of UWT, which is set up for quality and sustainability and the positive cooperation with international partners. Furthermore UWT’s success story in China was presented.
The following product training was conducted by Johannes Blochum, the product manager for UWT units. First on the agenda were the Vibranivo and the Rotonivo. Focus of this seminar presentation was information on the technical components and the electronic variety. The main benefits of the UWT units were highlighted. On the second day Johannes Blochum started the seminar event with NB3000. After a theoretical part he showed the participants in practice the programming of this technology. Afterwards the "little brother" NB4000 was presented.
In discussions after each product presentation the participants had the opportunity to analyze and disassemble the equipment.
Also some workshops were organized where participants were able to apply what they have learned and also here all types of applications were discussed and debated. Based on the detailed questions and good arguments it could be seen that this seminar event was a complete success. Thus in future some more events of this kind will take place. For 2012 a sales meeting for all distributors in China is planned.
