High-ranking managers of the Chongqing Steel Group of China together with the managing director of our company in Shanghai were guests of UWT from11th to 17th July. The Chongqing Steel Group is one of the major steel companies in China and is part of the clientele of UWT for years. On Monday afternoon just when the Chinese delegation arrived in Betzigau the gentlemen were welcomed with alphorn music in front of the UWT-building. After the welcome a detailed guided tour through the company followed. The next day items of the agenda were project meetings regarding expansion of the facilities in China and various product presentations.
And to show the visitors a little the beautiful Allgäu trips to the Alpsee and the obligatory visit to the castle Neuschwanstein followed. Furthermore the delegation visited the house of Bavarian economy in Munich, where they could enjoy - after an excellent presentation on the German-Chinese economic relations - an original Bavarian veal sausage breakfast and in the evening a visit to the Hofbräuhaus. Furthermore the BMW museum, the Allianz Arena and the castle of Heidelberg were on the program. After a week"s stay the delegation flew back home from Frankfurt impressed by the many experiences.
