The international guests enjoyed an eventful program at headquarters in Betzigau and at a rustic hotel in the idyllic village Wald. The partners joined presentations of the economic and technical development and extended their knowledge in interesting trainings. Besides, they enjoyed collective team events, Bavarian culture and cosiness. Not only well-known partners from Europe, Asia, Russia and America found their way to Germany but also new partners from e.g. Morocco, Belarus, Tunisia, Ireland and Egypt.
The hosts of UWT GmbH created a varied agenda which began with different presentations of UWT staff. They presented not only technical and commercial developments but also current information on the strategic 7-years target plan. In the afternoon, the participants enjoyed and strengthened their togetherness and relations at a funny event in the sun.
On Saturday morning, all partners gathered at the headquarters in Betzigau. They joined guided tours through the modern company. Moreover, they listened to useful presentations of successful partners from Belgium, Russia, China and Italy.
In the afternoon, they extended their knowledge of special applications and exchanged experiences they make in the individual markets. The internally developed high quality measurement systems for level control meet the needs of customers worldwide.
The Sales Meeting climaxed on Saturday night as all partners and staff from UWT celebrated at the rustic restaurant in Wald. Everyone enjoyed delicious food and listened to traditional music. Finally, they were amazed of Bavarian children who performed traditional dances and Bavarian men cracking a whip in their noble traditional clothes.
UWT GmbH organises the event every 2-3 years which is popular amongst all partners as well as the whole UWT staff. In 2008, it took place in Malta where another production plant of UWT is located.
Meanwhile, the medium-sized company employs more than 115 people worldwide. Thereof, 75 employees work in Betzigau. Since 2009, UWT GmbH has recovered from the impacts of the worldwide financial crisis. Now, the healthy company is back on its way to success. Also the work of subsidiaries in China, USA and UK strengthen the positive development.
