Our customer, Chongqing Steel, one of the biggest steel manufacturers in China was looking for a reliable content measurement system even in the extremely rough and harsh environment of steel plant applications such as coal, lime stone, iron ore etc.. The particular challenge was to guarantee reliable measurement and ensure easy operational set-up. Previous other technologies failed in the application or would have caused very high maintenance costs (e.g. regular cleaning intervals).
The NB3200 measuring system gives added values such us tape version for low maintenance as well as an integrated tape cleaner for the dusty atmospheres. The NB3 assured next to low maintenance & reliable measurement a very long life time on a very difficult application. In total 90 pieces of our NB3200 were installed in the different applications.
