With this modified universal mill the sample preparation and the sample analysis have again equal rights on the laboratory bench.
The well-known and reliable Planetary mill reduces hard to soft sample dry or in suspension down to final fineness of < 1 µm and now with the following new and very interesting modifications.
- Synchronous toothed belt drive of the bowls to guarantee a slip-free and constant transmission ratio between the bowls and main disc
- automatic reverse (direction of rotation reversed periodically) to improve the grinding results
- unbalance detection. If the unbalance is too great, the instrument switches off
- New smaller housing in the equipment family design with most innovative technology
- bench top model with 25% smaller footprint
- lighter in weight
- Integral fan located in the grinding chamber for additional cooling permits longer grinding process.
Naturally, the tried and tested features of its predecessors, like maintenance-free bearings for mechanical parts, user-friendly control via a membrane keyboard, safe lock clamping system for the grinding bowls, etc., have also been incorporated in this model.
