Kersting GmbH in Brilon, Germany, specialist in manual and installed samplers, offers a new range of installed powder samplers. The new series called SiloTasty and InlineTasty satisfies the increasing request for a low cost sampling system suitable for a wide range of applications.
The new device is manufactured from food grade materials, such as stainless steel 316 and Teflon polymers. The Tasty can be used for all free flowing powders and granules up to a particle size of 8 to 10 mm.
For an easy installation all connections are based on the Triclamp connection system. A special weld flange is supplied with each sampler, so that the customer can install the sampler himself.
The Kersting Tasty line can be installed on silo conusses, gravity chutes, down pipes as well as on pneumatic convey lines. Sampling takes place when the hand lever is engaged.
The device is easily dismountable thanks to the Triclamp connectors. This way both maintenance and cleaning can be realized in short time and without tools.
There are various options regarding sample collection, for example bag holder, endless liner system or customized bottle connector. An optional ball valve ensures reproducible samples of equal quantities (0.4 L).
The InlineTasty for pneumatic convey line applications is tested for pressures up to 5 barg. Further information on www.kersting-ind.de
