LUM GmbH, Berlin, Germany, presents new scientific results from the comprehensive characterization of dispersions and particles during two talks and in 8 posters on the 6th World Congress on Particle Technology (WCPT6) in Nuremberg from 26 – 29 April 2010.
LUM GmbH is market leader in innovative instruments for direct and fast stability analysis and particle characterization of dispersions. Using LUM’s extremely powerful measurement instrumentation demixing processes in dispersions can be analysed in a rapid, efficient and reliable way, a comprehensive characterization of dispersions is provided.
Besides the provision of innovative measurement instrumentation LUM supports the development of the subject area of „Basics and Applications of Dispersions“. Recent scientific results, partly obtained together with national and international co-operation partners, are presented to the international audience on WCPT6.
The focus of the contributions is on the direct and accelerated determination of emulsion and suspension stability in original concentration, on the characterization of flocculation degrees in undiluted dispersions and on the measurement of the hindrance function for describing the sedimentation behaviour of concentrated suspensions.
The POWTECH show is held in parallel to WCPT6 in Nuremberg. In Hall 6 at LUM stand 6-114 we are looking forward to meeting you to present you innovative instruments for above named applications.
