Thanks to the new VMW-water stage Aerzener Maschinenfabrik offers the suppliers of screw compressors a progressive possibility to establish screw compressors for the production of absolutely oil-free pressurized air to the current state of the art – true to the Aerzen motto “one step ahead”.
Based on the long-time experiences regarding production of oil-injected compressor stages with rotors made of steel, Aerzener Maschinenfabrik has selected this material also for the new VMW-water stages. The high-alloy, non-corrosive steel works also at higher pressures up to 13 bar resistant to deformation, so that the clearances have been decreased considerably and the efficiencies could be improved essentially. Now, they are comparable directly with the values of the oil-injected screw compressors.
Therefore, the new VMW-water stage is forecasted with a high market penetration. Aerzen calls the long lifetime, little maintenance and the high efficiencies comparable with the systems directly oil-injected as decisive advantages.In every application case these new VMW-water stages produce absolutely oil-free compressed air – now with highest-possible energy efficiency and reduced investment costs.
