High Energy Ball Mills for Nano Grinding

The RETSCH product range of laboratory mills includes three Planetary Ball Mills which meet and exceed demands for quick and reproducible grinding of solids down to the submicron range:
· Benchtop model PM 100 CM with 1 grinding station
· Benchtop model PM 200 with 2 grinding stations
· Floor model PM 400 with 4 grinding stations for up to 8 samples – this mill was completely redesigned and now offers new features such as power failure backup

The construction of the mills allows for maximum energy transfer, so even the most difficult materials can be ground without problems. They are also suitable for mechanical alloying and meet all the technical requirements for colloidal grinding.

The RETSCH Planetary Ball Mills convince with their top-quality grinding results combined with the highest degree of operating comfort. They are used for grinding samples such as minerals, ores, alloys, ceramics, soils and waste down to a fineness of approx. 0.1 µm. The grinding jars “Comfort” are available in 6 materials and in sizes of 12, 25, 50, 125, 250 and 500 ml.

The new Retsch planetary ball mills offer a high degree of operating comfort. The programmable starting time, a power failure backup and an ergonomic one-button operation with graphic display simplify handling and open up a wide range of possibilities. Up to 10 combinations of parameters can be stored and called up for continually repeated grinding processes.
