Clyde Materials Handling Ltd is pleased to announce a new product to its comprehensive range of material handing valves.
The new unit takes the much acclaimed pneumatically actuated Dome Valve. As per customers’ requirements we have provided them with a 600mm diameter Dome Valve with a hydraulic actuator fitted with a manual hand wheel override. The override is supplied as a safety feature in case of site hydraulic failure. Also fitted to the valve is an air reservoir to ensure that even if the compressed air supply to the Dome Valve’s inflatable seal fails, the valve is still able to operate a number of cycles without any process concerns.

• Designed specifically for the ‘most arduous’ material handling applications where other valves usually fail !
• Unique inflatable seal, perfect for sealing pressure when handling dusts to solids.

• ‘1,000,000’ operations between seal inspections.
• Seal inflation can be checked a monitored during ‘every’ valve operation via pressure switch.
• Quick and easy seal replacement.
• Fast operating, generally less than 1 second.
• Sizes available: 50 to 750mm diameter.
• Temperatures ranges: -20 to 750°C.
• Pressures ranges: full vacuum to 35 Barg plus.
