The bridging or ratholing in the silo can block the whole process and cause a discontinuity with high technical and financial consequences. The influences of geometry of the silo are, the silo diameter, height, angle of the hopper, pressure in the silo and wall friction. The influences trough powder are the cohesion, angle of internal friction, density and unconfined compressive strength. The vibration however, is not transferred to the powder in the silo, because a layer of powder above the louver is flowing and expanded in which case a transfer of the vibration to the powder in the silo is not possible.
The vibrating bottom makes material bridges and angles of repose collapse.

Application:
Universal application for all bulk materials of up to 40 mm particle size and silos of all sizes and silos of all sizes with circulator, square or slot –shaped discharge openings. Discharge capacity up to 1500 m3/h. Avoid bridging, ratholing, degradation and segregation. The rate of flow is adjustable from zero to maximum.
