The approved Solid Flow Meter Type FlowSlide is now available for flow rates up to 350 m³/h.
Due to the fact that the capacity of the maintenance free FlowSlide meter was limited to 100 m³/h Hense Wägetechnik GmbH
was often forced to refuse inquiries of pleased customers.
The new Maxi - FlowSlide measures the flow of grain and powder material via the centripetal force. This method make the measurement independent from density and grain size.
A special test stand was constructed to confirm the flow capacity and the accuracy. The construction consists of 2 silos.
A screw conveyor feeds the test material from the lower silo into the upper vessel. The vessel is resting on 4 each OIML
approved `Clevermount` load cells.
Via a slide gate a flow rate up to 400 tm³/h can be adjusted.
Test results: The Maxi - FlowSlide was tested with flow rates of
25 / 40 / 60 / 80 / 120 / 150 / und 180 t/h. With batches
of 1000 kg the max. deviation was within 0,2 % or 2 kg.
The test product was PE - granulate with a bulk density
of 550 kg/m³.
Final result:
The Maxi - FlowSlide achieves a new benchmark measuring the flow rate of solids.
The accuracy is within 0,3 %. (between 20 and 100 % of flow rate)
