HBM’s WE2107 Weighing Indicator meets the requirements of all applications in a wide range of industries. The unit supports applications as diverse as non-automatic weighing machines, counting scales, process control systems and batching/filling systems.
Two COM ports link the WE2107 to weighing systems. One port is used for serial communication with a PC or PLC, the other one for connecting a printer or external large display. In addition, there are two digital control inputs and four digital, PLC-compatible outputs that can be used as limit switches or for batching/filling control. A 4-20 mA output enables further analog processing or provides data access for maintenance purposes. The WE2107 includes an integrated memory for legal-for-trade applications.
Two housing variants meet different installation requirements. The WE2107 is suitable for mounting on a wall, column or any other surface. The WE2107M is a low profile version for integration into a control panel or electronic cabinet. Both versions offer IP65 protection and are legal-for-trade up to 6,000 d.
The WE2107 achieves the highest operational safety. Several user levels prevent unauthorized access, while automatic self-diagnosis and monitoring enable weighing system errors to be identified quickly. Parameters can be assigned either through a dialog menu or, more conveniently, using HBM’s WE2107 Panel software.
