L.U.M. GmbH, the market leader of innovative instruments in dispersion analysis continues to benefit from the rapid development in Asia and strong demand for comprehensive analytical instruments from Japanese high-tech research institutions and industries. Despite the unfavorable currency exchange rates for exporting European companies, our Japanese partner Nihon Rufuto Co. Ltd. contributed a significant two-digit increase to the overall LUM global sales growth in the year 2007. As a result LUM GmbH’s managing director Prof. Lerche presented Nihon Rufuto Co. Ltd. with the top global distributor award at the international sales meeting this Spring in Berlin, Germany attended by representatives from over 39 countries.
In other developments Adaptive Instruments was appointed as the sole distributor for all LUM products in the BENELUX countries. Here, in addition to the LUM series of instruments being used extensively in the food and pharmaceutical industry, the Stability Analyser LUMiFuge® has become a standard tool for quality control and production departments.
The International Lecithin and Phospholipid Society (ILPS) in cooperation with Ghent University perform a related seminar in Ghent (Belgium) from 5th to 6th June.
