Now the successful Drum Containment System is also available for liquids. Safe emptying and filling of drums under high containment with hazardous, corrosive liquids is now possible without being forced to set up additional preventive measures, for example full protection suites or large Laminar Airflow Booths.
Especially developed for toxic liquids. Containment levels of less then 1 µg/m3 (1 ppb) can be achieved.
The suction lance is integrated in a special venting tube, which is equipped with a manual valve and a sealing plug. After lowering the DCS on the drum. The venting tube is con-nected to the drum nozzle. Then the suction lance can be intro-duced in the drum and the liquid can be pumped out completely.
The DCSliquid is particularly suited for the handling of liquids with strong off-odours. All occurring odours will be contained and removed to the vent.
The system is very compact and space-saving.
It can be easily moved around with a lift or pallet truck from one site to another.
Optionally the DCSliquid can be equipped with load cells which provide precise dosing of the liquids. Partial emptying of drums is possible as well and eliminates inefficient and time-consuming predispensing of drums.
