An innovative technology for emptying drums
Dec developed the innovative DCS Inverter (patent pending), based on the DCS-Technology (Drum Containment System, patented).
The DCS is the perfect solution for contamination free evacuation of drums of various sizes equipped with double inliners. It provides optimal protection of the operator and product at high containment-levels (<1g/m3).
The DCS Inverter is the innovative development of the DCS system and offers a lot of advantages. The outstanding innovation compared to the DCS is the possibility of inverting the drum.
This development allows faster emptying of the drums (higher throughput) and saves a lot of time. Lumpy and agglomerated materials can be discharged easily due to a lump breaker integrated in the suction hopper.
The DCS Inverter works together in combination with the PTS (Powder Transfer System). The drums are emptied by means of inverting the drum and the powder in turn transferred by the PTS in a reactor or any kind of receiving vessel. During the process a high level of containment is provided.
With this application the handling of the drums is simplified for the user thus improving ergonomics and safety.
