The pulverisette 6 is a planetary ball mill with one grinding station and internal unbalance compensation. Because of the high ball acceleration a significantly higher comminution rate is achieved compared with centrifugal ball mills. The comminution in closed vessels guarantees loss-free milling (including suspensions). All grinding parameters, like grinding time, interval-, break times and rotational speed are adjustable via membrane keyboard.
Grinding bowls and balls for the pulverisette 6 are offered in 9 different materials and 3 different sizes. Therefore the instrument can be used universally and enables contamination-free grinding as well as optimum quantitative adaption.
