Our new model is the world’s only vibrating cup mill with frequency converter control. This allows the vibration frequency of the motor to be varied to suit the load (grinding elements and grinding material) and the grinding is then carried out in a minimum of time.
The special field of the NEW vibrating cup mill “pulverisette 9” of FRITSCH is the dry and wet grinding of brittle and very hard solids in a extremely short time to analytical fineness:
Mining: for processing coal, ores or minerals for physical or chemical analysis
Metallurgy: for grinding blast furnace slag or cast iron samples to determine additives needed
Ceramic industry: for grinding rock samples to produce raw powder to determine CaO3 and MgCO3 content or clinkers to study the constancy of the mineralogical structure
Agriculture and ecology: for preparing samples for chemical analysis of soils, sludges or vegetable matter
Infrared- and X-ray fluorescence: for preparing samples in a short grinding time with minimal contamination through abrasion
Features of performance:
- Load-optimised vibration frequency
- Frequency converter control
- Extremely fast size reduction dry or wet (1 to 3 min)
- New, optimised grinding elements clamping
- Wide choice of grinding materials and capacities
- Reproducible grinding conditions
- Improved handling
