AnaTec (former Hydro Production Partner) has developed new instruments to characterize powders and granulates. Beside the new DustMon Systems which measures the amount of Dust in Lab and Online applications, the FPA (Fine Particle Analyser) is the lab and Online solution to measure powders and granulates from 1 up to 5.000 micron.
F P A is a new developed photo-optical measurement system to analyze the particle size and shape of dry particles, suspensions and emulsions. The typical size range is 1 to 5.000 micron
Based on the well proven PartAn technology the F P A (Fine Particle Analyzer) measures the particle size and shape with a resolution of 1 micron.
Depending on the sample behavior the sample can be measured dry or as suspension.
The sample is introduced into the measurement zone by special nozzles. Even cohesive powders can be analyzed by the FPA.
The FPA measures from 256 channels up to 2048 channel, free selectable. The user can choose its own fractions, such as the standard sieve fractions.
