XPT XenParTec is a particle size, count and shape analyser based on real time image analysis with XPT program. XPT-C is a system with flow-through cells and can be used in lab and on-line in process. The elaborate software package has many options and additional to normal particle size analysis for example allows counting of particles depending on shape (application: fibres contamination detection), brightness differentiation (black-spec detection) or tracking of shape change in process.
The system can also perform series measurements initiated by external signals coming from a production process and can trigger events depending on measurement results. The software is compatible with 21 CFR Part 11.
XPT-C-C has another unique feature: the ability to fill suspensions in vials by counting the particles and starting and stopping pumps to have defined number of particles and liquid volume. One application is filling of encapsulated products.
XPT-P are probe based systems using the same software but to be put directly in process streams like suspensions, emulsion, bubbles, foams or powders and granulates. Direct in-process information is provided. Images can be saved single or in a movie and real time image analysis and trending is featured.
