Sweco Separation Processes

With over 50 years of design experiences in separators, Sweco has developed hundreds of options and components that can be used to optimize a solution for different processes. Our Separation Processes are:

• Sizing for dry products (sugar, spices, starch, polystyrene beads, powdered pharmaceuticals …): segregation of a variety of solid particles into separate groups containing comparable sizes. Up to 5 separations simultaneously.

• Scalping for dry material (powdered milk, cereals and grains, chocolate powder…): removal of a small quantity of undesirable oversize particles in a high-throughput process.

• Gravity Filtering/Products Recovery for solid/liquid mixtures (fruit juices, fish, pulp and paper, ceramic…): filtering oversize solids from all types of slurries, or dewatering solid/liquids mixtures. Reclaiming usable solids or clarifying liquids, either of which has further economic value.

• Wastewater clean-up and water pollution control (potato peelings and waste, sewage, laundry waste, pulp and paper effluent…): efficient recovery of usable solids, and water clean-up and re-use.

We will be exhibitors at:
• Industrial Processing (Utrecht – The Netherlands) on 3-6/10/2006: Hall 7, stand D095.
• Easy Fairs Solids (Coventry – UK) on 1-2/11/2006: Hall 1, stand 63.
• Easy Fairs Schüttgut (Duisburg – Germany) on 8-9/11/2006: stand C33.
• Pollutec (Lyon, France) on 28/11 – 1/12/2006: Hall 6, stand AC176
